Responsibilities

Based in your home office, as an Account Executive you are primarily responsible for generating revenue in a defined territory by selling company solutions to new customers as well as maintaining our install base, via direct contact or through business partners. Your responsibilities will be, but not limited to:

  • consistently meet or exceed the predetermined annual sales quota;
  • conduct cold calls, prospect, and qualify sales opportunities;
  • accurately forecast business opportunities;
  • identify and create business needs with decision makers;
  • create and communicate the value of company solutions with prospects and clients;
  • develop individual account strategies to effectively penetrate accounts;
  • maintain and manage existing accounts
  • coordinate and ensure the timely delivery and successful implementation of company consumer product - other duties as assigned


Qualifications & Requirements
  • Bachelor degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or Economics and 3-4 years of software sales experience
  • A thorough understanding of computing infrastructure as it relates to networks, the Internet and end-user computing, network security and software, and appliances designed to maintain a secure computing environment
  • A proven track record of 100% or better quota performance for a technology company selling to mid-size to large corporations and/or school districts, governments and higher education institutions
  • Knowledge of Security as a technology or set of technologies
  • An extremely strong ability to build relationships, prospect and qualify new opportunities
  • A comfort level required to sell to executives.
  • The ability to work autonomously, yet build virtual teams comprised of resources required to achieve her/his selling goals
  • The ability to negotiate long-term license agreements directly with customers or through our partners
  • Experience working with PC manufacturers and their distribution sales forces and or with systems integrators and VARs
  • Strong proven business acumen
  • Experience working with MS Office applications
