The Manager of Technical Project and Portfolio Management, is responsible for building and leading a team of Technical Project Managers that assist in the technical delivery of all approved projects on time, within budget and to specifications. This dynamic role also provides project management leadership and sets standards, business processes, controls & procedures for managing technology projects across the organization. We are looking for an experienced Project Manager who enjoys working in a very entrepreneurial environment. You will be the pivotal point of leadership for the implementation of a best practice, structured technical project methodology. This role is also responsible for managing the allocation and internal tracking of the resource allocation, which will entails working closely with our team in Seattle and other technical managers on project prioritizing to assure alignment with the overall technology initiatives and strategies. Further, the role will assist in the management of various vendors and third parties that provide staff augmentation and on/offshore resourcing. The Manager will be responsible for hiring, reviewing and adjusting compensation, coaching and developing of staff as well as ensuring disciplinary actions when necessary. Travel between North Hollywood and Seattle is expected. |
